Everyone supports the troops. However, hiring and assimilating returning military into the civilian workforce presents unique challenges and opportunities, particularly during a slow economic recovery. Our expert panel will help employers navigate the issues they must address.

With the drawdown of nearly all U.S. troops from Iraq at end of 2011 and thousands of additional troops from both Iraq and Afghanistan returning in 2012, is your organization prepared to comply with laws governing the hiring of veterans? How might your organization be affected by the reinstatement of employees who may have been on military leave for months, or even years? How can employers best accommodate Californian veterans returning home to 11% unemployment?
